Greetings Members, It's hard to believe but the holidays and a new year are once again upon us. This year has flown by and I am excited for what 2019 will bring for us as fans of Baylor University and citizens of Central Texas. As we continue to bring you the best in networking, programming, dining and Member experiences, we are thrilled to provide this second edition of our quarterly newsletter. We have been busy planning fun special events for you, your family and friends to enjoy. December is all about the holidays, with our annual Member favorite events coming up including Santa Brunch, Member Appreciation Holiday Party (rumors of me dancing to YMCA last year were greatly exaggerated) and a special Candlelight Dinner on December 22. We'll end the year with our annual New Year's Eve early dinner featuring the smooth sounds of Greg Bashara. In January we'll continue our traditional events like Harvest, Family Pasta Night, Trivia Night and Sunday Brunch, to name a few. Thanks to the rave reviews of our 70's Night Dance Party, we'll take on another decade, the 80's, for another great night out on the town. February is the month of love, and we'll have plenty of options for you to celebrate Valentine's Day with your loved one. In other words, we are planning events with something for everyone, but all include food and fun! Your ClubCorp membership extends well beyond the four walls of your club, and I hope you have had a chance to enjoy some of the other clubs in the ClubCorp network. The Texas winter does bring some cold and dreary days, but also some that are just perfect for golf. There are over 200 holes of golf waiting for you just up the road in the Dallas area, and over 100 in Austin. Also, don't forget about our friends down in Temple at Wildflower Country Club. This is a beautiful course close to home, and I've never heard anything but fabulous reports from Baylor Club Members enjoying the facilities down there. I am very excited about 2019 and the future of the Baylor Club. What a great time to live in Waco, and I am thankful every day that I am here. Hope to see you soon in the Club!
