Hello Texas Tech Club Members! Hoping this note finds you and yours well, and excited about all that's happening at Texas Tech! As we kick off what hopes to be a deep tournament run for the Red Raiders and get ready for Spring football, we are excited to share some updates with you. First, ClubCorp and the Texas Tech Club have signed a long-term agreement with Texas Tech University. With this agreement comes a significant remodel to our Club's 4th floor. We will soon be posting mood boards and mock-ups of what the new space as a hint as to what is coming to your Club. Key Dates: • April 1-Our last day serving on the 4th floor • April 2-6th the Club will be closed. • April 4th-Demolition Starts • April 7th – the Club will re-open for lunch on the West side of the Stadium • August 15th – Projected return to the Eastside 4th Floor. Key Details: • New location during construction will be on the West Club Level North. • Signs will be posted for the Club entrance and in the elevators for the Club Level. • Parking-Tech Club parking spaces will be located on the north side of the parking lot in front of the West Stadium. • During construction we will have a new menu and Chef Table (buffet) set up daily for lunch and dinner In other Club news, we have promoted Chef Kirk Delong to Executive Chef, as Chef Tom has returned to Louisville. Chef Kirk joins us from Santa Barbara, California, where he was the Executive Chef at the Hilton Los Angeles. He also spent time honing his craft at the Hilton Beachfront Resort and the Waldorf Astoria in Maui. He and his family are excited to raise their children near their family in Lubbock.
