Can you feel it? There's energy and excitement in the air. It was a momentous moment for The University Club Atop Symphony Towers after being awarded "2021 City Club of the Year," amongst all the city clubs in the nation, by ClubCorp. The business and social center of San Diego's professional elite was recognized for its membership growth, yearly revenue, and diversity within the Club. This is a milestone for The University Club, as it has been 30 years since the Club last received the award. Stay tuned for details about a Member appreciation event to celebrate this significant award. Our Member Experience team is ready to welcome you to the Club with events and activities designed to bring Members together, help you grow and expand your network. We look forward to seeing you at the Club for such programs as Coffee & Connections with our Board of Governors, Y.E.S. Professional Development Events, Monthly Dance Classes, Night Markets. Vino & Vinyl, The Downtown Quarterly Update, and our Art's Reception with the Comic-Con Museum! Seasonal holidays have always been an important part of ClubLife, and this spring, we're going big with gatherings and galas to celebrate these special events. We have special Sunday brunches for Easter and Mother's Day. Major League Baseball's Opening Day is right around the corner. We hope you'll join us at the Club to "tailgate" before Padres home games. Our Food and Beverage team welcomes the arrival of spring flavors and farmer's market finds with new menus that highlight the vibrant vegetables and fresh fruits starting to fill the markets. If you haven't had a chance to experience our revamped menu in our elevated dining room, The Helm, you are missing out! In addition to our daily menus, we invite you to join us for food and beverage centered events throughout the season, such as Sunset Sips, Speakeasys, rotating Epicurean Dinners, and our In The Cellar Wine Series. Not to mention, we have two exclusive wine dinners with Chateau Montelena featuring owner and winemaker Bo Barrett, and a Kamen wine dinner with proprietor Robert Mark Kamen! I don't think there has ever been a spring as hopeful and as exciting as this one, especially at the Club, where it is and always has been our goal to bring Members together to work, play, dine and, most importantly, connect. We look forward to offering extraordinary experiences and a warm and inviting place for you to interact with other Members, entertain guests and foster meaningful connections.
