W E LC O M E Greetings, A new year, a new decade and a renewed focus. While we are extremely fond of the memories, we're ready to bid adieu to the "teen years", and welcome the intention, excitement and adventure of the "twenty-somethings". In that vein, we resolve to be bold, take more risks, and create more opportunities as we revisit our mission of building relationships and enriching lives. As we enter into our 22nd year at Boston College Club, Community and Member Engagement will be our focus. We'd like to share that Jack Concannon, a Founding Member and Partner at Morgan Lewis will be your new Board Chair, and welcome all new committee members who will be trailblazing new and exciting Club programs this year. Last fall's Member survey provided great insight, and as a result, you can expect more culinary, professional development and social experiences in 2020. In fact, join us on January 31st, 2020 for your ClubLife Connections 2020 Kickoff at our Decades Party. It's the first of our bi-monthly ClubLife socials – our Soiree Series - hosted by your Board of Governors and designed to help you maximize all your Member benefits while meeting new friends and welcoming opportunities for becoming a bolder, better you this year. When it comes to goalsetting, providing a great food, beverage and service experience is always at the top of our list. That's why we've brought back our extraordinary Director of Food & Beverage, Carlos Silva Aguiar, who with our Michelin-trained Executive Chef Stefan, will breathe new life into the culinary experiences we offer you at the Club. You can count on elegant fine dining every 2nd Saturday in The Harbour Room, international cultural dining with Culinary Excursions, elevated wine and spirits tastings, and more. As an extension of your home, we look forward to celebrating this year's milestones and proud moments with you. As an extension of your office, we hope to be a place that fosters collaboration and accomplishment. Toward that goal we've created a WorkLounge for co-working and are hosting monthly networking Industry Roundtables. And as an extension of your individuality, may Boston College Club cultivate a community that celebrates you, shares your story and lifts you up.
